Welcome to Asthma Kids

June 3rd, 2007

Hey everyone…

I am guessing that if you have gotten this far then you have a child with Asthma!

Well you are in the right place… This blog is for us all to be able to share our experiences, information, thoughts and fears on having a child with Asthma. Don’t forget to share your photos!

I by no means claim to be a medical professional or expert on this topic. I am learning as I go and my son is only 14 monhs old so I have a lot to learn. This is purely a place for us to learn more about asthma and share our own experiences. Please do not self diagnose or take anything written in this blog as medical advice. It is really important that you see your GP or specialist if you have ANY concerns.

Happy Blogging…

Today my big boy went to hospital for the third time since he was diagnosed with asthma at 3. He is now 4.
He has other health problems including severe eczema and allergies.

You poor thing.
Is he OK now? Did he have to stay in or did they manage to control it and let you go home?
My son had excema from about 3-6 months and then it cleared up completely but I have just noticed this morning that it is coming back…. Bugger!
I have a few friends with children with pretty bad excema (one extremely bad) but they don’t suffer from Asthma so much.
